Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Team Lead to join our Loan Collections team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, outstanding analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The Collections Team Lead will play a key role in managing the company's receivables and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances.
Essential Functions:
Lead the team with monitoring loan aging reports to identify troubled accounts.
Maintain thorough records of collection efforts and status of accounts.
Contact borrowers with delinquent accounts and solicit payment.
Review severely delinquent loans and recommend migration to non-performing status when collection efforts are no longer productive.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
5+ years experience Collections, Customer Service, or related field
Loan/mortgage industry experience preferred.
100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Teams is required.
Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
