We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Blackline COE Team. As a Blackline System Analyst II, you will play an important role in supporting our Global Process Owner (GPO) team and assist to the success of our end-to-end process optimization efforts within the Record to Report (R2R) workstream.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Blackline COE Team your responsibilities will include:
Handle and process Blackline change requests, including user access management and master data changes.
Parter with the IT department to address and resolve any technical issues related to Blackline.
Deliver training and ongoing support to users, enabling them to efficiently use all modules within Blackline.
Become a go-to person within the organization for any Blackline-related question
Collaborate with team members to ensure system data accuracy.
Support Blackline implementations and improvements across all modules (reconciliation, journals, and task).
Ensure Blackline SOX IT compliance by the effective performance of system controls aligned with Thermo Fisher standards.
Analyzing and evaluating existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and defining and implementing solutions to optimize the end-to-end process.
Working closely with RTR GPO, IT, PPI, and Automation teams to support process improvements and automation initiatives.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proficient spoken and written English skills.
Experience with different ERPs such as SAP, JDE, and Oracle is necessary, along with Intermediate to Advanced PC skills in applications like MS Excel and Word.
Understanding of end-to-end R2R processes.
Curiosity about learning about Blackline and other technologies.
End user experience in Blackline or any other reconciliation tool.
Experience as Blackline Administrator is a plus.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels
