Role Description
A Hakkoda Associate Data Engineer learns how to design and develop Snowflake Data Cloud solutions. The successful candidate will collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide clients with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational and business practices. Their main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least +2 year in a practical project and/or relevant education.
- Exposure to working with data solutions (data warehousing)
- Exposure to ETL / ELT ingestion pipelines.
- SQL, R, Scala, Python scripting experience.
- Some cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of any of the following tools is also a plus: Snowflake, Matillion/Fivetran and/or DBT.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members and data project teams.
- Advanced English required.
- Previous experience in Consulting.
