Alliance Manager
Scope: Full-time | Location: San Jose, Costa Rica.

How a day to day would look like in this role:
- The Channels and Alliances team is responsible for building, maintaining, and handling deeply rooted and trusted partner relationships. We work in coordination with all facets of our company including sales, delivery, national practice, legal and finance teams. Our partners and internal teammates rely on us to employ strategies and tactics that align with our joint partner’s needs. We are rapidly growing our team and alliances is a very exciting and high-demand place to work at Insight.
- We are looking for an experienced Alliances Manager with in-depth knowledge of technology services and solutions, an understanding of the partner ecosystem, and experience with partner lead generation. You will work directly with field sales teams to ensure our brand is favorably showcased amongst our community.
Specific role:
- Build and handle programs with partners to drive business development efforts through the partner channel yielding new business into our sales funnel.
- Communicate and network effectively within the partner’s organization.
- Evangelize Swo to partners and communicate how Swo´s solutions align with partner strategy.
- Work closely with Swo´s market leadership and sales to facilitate a positive and favorable partner relationship rhythm for local market serving as primary executor on strategic and tactical duties.
- Perform status reviews and business planning with the partner and provide internal reports to customers.
- Serve as point person for local and regional partner events and initiatives.
- Be comfortable speaking publicly in front audiences of all sizes selling Swo´s capabilities and market differentiators.
- Build strong and healthy relationships with all members of the local / regional Swo teams as well as with the national leadership team to support partner rhythm and top of mind presence.
- Work with alliances coordinator to ensure that partner impact is accurately.
What we need to see from you:
- Strong experience in partner ecosystem, working with the partner and their business associates.
- Understanding of technology services and solutions / cloud solutions.
- Existing partner relationships in the local market with related partners.
- Experience working for or with systems integration services partners.
- In-depth knowledge of partner, sales, and specialist team organizational structures.
- Ability to identify actionable insights from ambiguous and sometimes limited information.
- Excellent presentation and meeting organization skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to structure days and activities on your own.
- Experience leading successful direct partner and client communications.
Soft Skills
- Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
