Job Summary:
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting transactions are processed efficiently and effectively, in accordance with established service levels and other contractual requirements. The individual will be responsible for related tasks associated with accounting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. Will work directly with the Sr. Accounting Clerk and Staff Accountant managing and resolving issues as well as following up on open items for the accounts assigned. Will be responsible to perform the month end close activities assigned on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and verify journal entries and accounting reports.
- Reconcile low and intermediate complex Balance Sheet accounts.
- Prepare, verify and reconcile accounting transactions, such as purchase requisitions and invoices.
- Enter financial data into appropriate accounting and computer systems.
- Maintain records and files associated with various business transactions.
- May perform back-up duties for other positions within the work group.
- Prepare and review documentation to support internal and external audits, as required.
- Ensure timely preparation of client service level and operational performance reports in accordance with established guidelines and client requirements.
- Ensure successful performance of contractual services levels and minimum monthly performance levels.
- Will be responsible for providing follow up on open items for the account or processes assigned.
- Give support to the Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant with daily requests.
Skills and Experience:
General Requirements

English – Spanish Language (Oral and writing 80% or higher), (B2+ or above).
- The resource will adjust its schedule based on the account needs.
- High school diploma
- Technical high school degree in accounting or 0-1 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance
- Oracle/ SAP or other Tier 1 ERP systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Additional Requirements (Nice to have):
• College Student of a Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting or related area. • Experience in accounting in a multinational Shared Services operation is a plus.
