Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile accountant to join our team. In this role, you will not only manage our company's financial operations but also provide accounting services to our valued clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Colombian accounting practices, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with experience in client services preferred
Proficiency in Colombian GAAP and tax regulations
Strong skills in various financial software platforms and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Ability to work on multiple client accounts simultaneously
Strong communication skills for client interactions
Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations for our firm and our clients
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for multiple accounts
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations for our firm and clients
Assist clients with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for various accounts
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits when required
Identify and implement process improvements in our service delivery
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of financial matters
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
