Purpose of Job:

Working at our Yorkton Cap-It location, the XPel® Installation Technician provides our customers with high quality installation of XPel® paint protection film to ensure their vehicle sustains maximum resale value.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install XPel® paint protection film onto vehicles
  
• Use computer software to prepare film for application
  
• Complete assigned work with precision and accuracy
  
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of work area
  
• Follow all safety policies and complete safety training as required
  
• Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Completion of Grade 12
  
• Ability to provide criminal record clearance
  
• Valid driver’s license
  
• Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
  
• Ability to manage time effectively
  
• Ability to monitor work for quality
  
• A moderate level of computer literacy is required
  
• Previous experience completing tasks with precision is beneficial
  
• Knowledge of WHMIS and ability to work safely with chemicals
  
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time
  
• Keen attention to detail

• Part-time position
  
• Valid Driver’s License must be maintained throughout the course of employment.

• Safety Metrics and Goals: 100% completion of assigned safety training; Compliance with organizational safety standards.
  
• Quality Installation: Maintain zero comebacks (install it right the first time)
  
• Training: 100% completion of training assigned by Assistant Manager
  

Working Conditions:

• Standing for majority of shift.
  
• Some heavy lifting may be required. Safe lifting procedures are available.
  
• Some bending and kneeling required while completing installation.
  
• Occasional exposure to high noise levels. Hearing protection is provided.
