Role Purpose/ Summary:
As the Territory Sales Manager, you will lead the sales and promotions in your territory to rapidly grow revenue and sales of Decibel branded products (Qwest Family and General Admission) with cannabis retailers
About us:
Decibel is uncompromising in the process and craftsmanship needed to deliver the highest quality cannabis products and retail experiences. Decibel has three production houses operating or under development along with its wholly owned retail business, Prairie Records. The Qwest Estate in Creston, BC is a licensed and operating 26,000 square foot cultivation space which produces the widely championed, rare cultivar-focused brands Qwest and Qwest Reserve, which are sold in six provinces across Canada. Thunderchild Cultivation, an 80,000 square foot indoor cultivation facility in Battleford, SK is scheduled to be completed and licensed in 2020. The Plant, Decibel’s extraction facility, in Calgary, AB has 15,000 square feet of Health Canada licensed extraction and product development space. Key responsibilities:
· Grow the retailer base and overall sales volume in your territory by generating new leads and increasing existing retailer sales. Build a prospect list through research and networking.
· Build and manage relationships and develop strong rapport with customer retail buyers, management and the Decibel team.
· Promote product placement and work with retailers to secure high visibility placement for products and displays.
· Follow up on leads provided by company, generated through trade shows, digital marketing etc.
· Identify prospects’ specific wants and needs to develop solutions that work for their unique situation.
· Present solutions and financials to customers and potential customers, and negotiate win-win outcomes.
· Meet or exceed sales goals.
· Follow up to ensure positive outcomes, expand breadth of offerings, and build solid, foundational customer base
· Mine sales data to identify incremental opportunities and build category expertise for retail partners
· Complete all other tasks related to the position as required.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cannabis industry is required
  • 3+ years of relevant professional sales experience
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred but not required
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; able to quickly identify and prioritize key opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prospect, negotiate and close new business;

· Detail orientated & a team player
· Takes initiative and ability to manage multiple complex customer relationships
· Strong communicator and writer
· Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, One Drive and Outlook
· Desire to learn and work hard!

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
