Sports Flooring and Athletic Equipment Installer
About Us: Caliber Sport Systems is a leading provider of sports flooring and athletic equipment supply and installation. We are currently seeking dedicated Sports Flooring and Athletic Equipment Installers to join our team across Canada.
Position Overview: In this role, you will focus on the installing various types of flooring and athletic equipment, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Position Overview: In this role, you will focus on the installing various types of flooring and athletic equipment, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement flooring installation plans as directed by supervisors.
- Perform physical installation duties as assigned by the Lead Project Leader and Project Manager.
- Adhere to and maintain all safety standards on job sites.
- Prepare and clean construction sites for flooring installation.
- Move, secure, install, and unload flooring materials and athletic equipment as per instructions.
- Operate and maintain power tools and machinery related to flooring and equipment installation.
- Conduct site reviews and inspections, collaborating with site staff and end users.
- Coordinate and schedule pre-installation activities to ensure timely project execution.
- Load tools and ensure safe transport of equipment and personnel to installation sites.
- Aim to deliver flooring and equipment installations on time and within budget.
- Review completed installations with clients or their representatives.
- Communicate any issues or challenges encountered during installation to the project manager.
- Document site conditions and relay concerns to the project management team.
- Supervise and support on-site personnel, including apprentices and laborers, during installations.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and vehicles related to installation tasks.
- Foster a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
- Experience with Cushioned Sport Vinyl, Athletic Hardwood, Athletic Rubber, and Poured Polyurethane flooring installations.
- Background in athletic equipment installation is preferred.
- Valid Drivers required.
- Forklift, Telehandler and lift equipment license and experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various environments.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
