As a Service Writer, you play an integral role in assisting the Service Department with customer service needs, opening and closing work orders, activities in pre-delivery of new or used equipment, repair and reconditioning of the new and used trade-in equipment, daily operations of shop functions, field service function and delivery or equipment functions.

Knowledge. You understand the processes in a dealership service department; and you have recent experience with service writing in the heavy equipment, automotive or similar industry.
Tech savvy. You will be comfortable with learning new software and have strong computer skills which assist in your intuitive computer skills, and ability to trouble-shoot issues with work orders or other service department applications.
Organized. You have already developed work habits and methods that keep your day organized and you are consistently on top of following through on tasks.
Calm. You will maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with scheduling conflicts, working under pressure, or assisting customers with issues.
