Service Manager
Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our client in their search for a Service Manager to join their team. Successful candidates will be experienced in HVAC servicing and repair. If you have strong leadership skills and are eager to be leading a team – we want to hear from you!
Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will be $42-$50/hr. based on experience
Position Summary:
- Manage and oversee commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
- Complete service, installation, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning units
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators, project coordinators, installers and fabricators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and communication is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability of HVAC projects
- Ensure that customer service and quality of work remains at the focus of projects and client interactions
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an HVAC or refrigeration technician role
- Valid HVAC or refrigeration technician certification
- Strong people skills – including interpersonal communication and business development
- Knowledge and experience in providing estimates and take-offs
- Leadership experience – ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong organizational skills, including scheduling and coordinating tasks of others, and providing needed support
