Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome all customers warmly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while addressing their inquiries and guiding them to the appropriate areas or personnel.
- Efficiently document customer and vehicle information relevant to the service.
- Properly tag customer vehicles upon arrival at the dealership, ensuring the application of seat, floor mats and steering wheel covers.
- Perform initial assessments for wheel alignment.
- Manage the flow of service traffic to prevent congestion at the drive-thru, ensuring vehicles move through in an orderly and timely manner.
- Securely store and manage vehicle keys upon receipt.
- Keep the service drive-thru clean and organized, removing litter, snow, and debris as necessary.
- Maintain the service lot by rearranging vehicles to optimize space and parking availability and clearing snow and debris when required.
- Perform Lot Attendant duties as required.
- Assist with various tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Clean Driving Abstract required.
- Previous experience is an asset.
- Certificate of Good Conduct required.
- Applicants must be able to commute to or relocate to St. John's, NL.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Professionalism : Demonstrates a professional demeanor, maintaining a neat, clean appearance and consistently upholding ethical standards of reliability, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Time Management Skills: Managing multiple tasks efficiently to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations; keeping the service Drive Thru organized, and efficient.
- Interpersonal Skills: Create and leverage collaborative relationships; building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrates empathy and approachability in interactions and takes initiative assisting others when needed.
- Attention to Detail : Being meticulous in tasks such as taking messages accurately, scheduling appointments correctly, and ensuring all necessary information is recorded.

- Moving about the Drive Thru, Wash bays and Service department.
- Moving about the Service parking lots.
- Standing, bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing.
- Seasonal snow clearing assistance.
- Utilizing physical and manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Using equipment consistent with industry standards.
- Steel Toe-Safety Boots required.
- Use of PPE e.g., high visibility safety vest, eye protection.
- Follow OH&S Act and OH&S Regulations.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Maintains an awareness of, and complies with safety regulations.
- Emergency Response: should be prepared to respond to emergencies, including knowing how to use emergency equipment and how to safely evacuate the premises if necessary.
