Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of meals.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and restaurant etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others in a collaborative environment.
