Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Agronomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on crop and soil management practices to enhance agricultural productivity.
Duties
Support in preparing pricing as it relates to inventory for existing customers and expand sales to new customers.
Offer complex and/or specialized operational and/or sales support services.
Participate in business development initiatives to expand market reach
Responsible for meeting and exceeding annual sales goals of seed, chemical and application services.
Collaborate with farmers to develop customized crop management plan
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with current and potential customers
Assist in the development and implementation of sustainable farming practices, providing timely agronomic information and advice to current and potential customers.
Conduct field visits to assess crop health and provide recommendations for improvement
Provide in season services at the retail, while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members.

Who you are
You have a degree or diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness
Retail skills an asset.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, time management, and written communication skills and willingness to train.
Focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
Strong agricultural background in sales, accounts management, and agronomy
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
Motivation and ability to work in a busy environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are honest and trustworthy, team-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
