Job description About Us Our Company is a locally owned and operated family business since 1985. We sell quality woodworking tools and machinery all across Canada. Supplying woodworking products to hobbyists, educational institutions, multi-national woodworking companies, and everyone in between. Position Overview This position requires a motivated individual with previous sales and woodworking experience. Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30. Role Expectations
Receive and handle incoming customer calls
Maintain detailed knowledge of all products in order to describe features and benefits of merchandise and answer any customer questions
Promote sales, up sell complimentary products and suggest alternative products as needed
Participate in outbound sales calls to current and potential customers
Provide customer service over the telephone, and email including but not limited to: creating leads and establishing customer relations
Diagnose problems for customers and recommend solutions
Perform all aspects of point of sale service - process, sales, returns, and provide quotes as needed
Respond to and resolve minor customer complaints or concerns
Other duties as assigned.
