Quality Control Administrator
Fast paced fabrication shop is looking to fill a QCI/ QA position
-Familiar with incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications of pipeline and facility construction.
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
- Utilize various programs and software to populate forms and spread sheets.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in products or materials.
- Record and document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and processes.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints or product failures to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in compiling and uploading turn overs
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and standards.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as, but not limited to: Code requirements, NDE requests and requirements, requirements of welding, conducting weld parameters, logging welding consumables, RFI processes, QMS procedures, & hydro test procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting to the QCM.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google drive, smart sheet.

Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Additional pay:

- Min 2 years with turnover experience
- Min CWB level 1 with 2 years experience
