Project Manager
We have partnered with a local Winnipeg based business that provides emergency restoration services to residential and commercial buildings to find a new Project Manager to add to their growing team!
Responsibilities
· Accepting claims from the company Claims Department, direct from the Insurance Adjuster and/or Insurance Broker and providing an acknowledgement of the Claim via email or Xactimate;
· Contacting the property owner within (SLA) of Insurance Company Compliance & Protocol Standards to acknowledge their acceptance of claim and arrange a meeting to assess the property;
· Strong understanding of the insurance claims process and project cycle times;
· Creating spec’s for the Insurance Adjuster approval of damaged property area(s) through assessing damages, accurately measuring, and sketching the area, taking accurate photos for the internal database, gathering and organizing information effectively;
· Creating an estimate for the file based on the approved spec’s;
· Assigning the coordination of the file to the project coordinator once the estimate has been approved and “go-ahead” has been given;
· Leading and overseeing the Site Supervisor position, providing the direction of the project, and ensuring the expectations and standards for completion are met;
· Responding to all QA and RWE requests in a timely manner;
· Working with and leading the Project Coordinator to review the budgets for all files;
· Overseeing the site and ensuring production safety standards are met by all.
Required Skills and Experience
· 2-3 years previous experience in a Project Manager or Construction related role;
· Post-secondary education in construction or another related field would be an asset;
· Possessing a C.E.T designation would be considered an asset;
· Knowledge of the restoration industry including tools, policies, safety procedures and materials;
· Excellent attention to detail;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
· Proven problem-solving abilities, with ability to practice sound judgement;
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external clients and insurance providers;
· Exceptional interpersonal skills;
· Ability to adapt to and manage a constantly changing, dynamic workflow with proficiency and calm;
· Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
· Ability to travel and attend the construction sites on an as needed basis;
· Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence;
· Participate in on call rotation once every 10 weeks;
· Ability to work independently and be a strong team player.
