Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Food Prep Clerk/Cashier at our C-Store and Gas Bar location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the La Ronge C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Why it Matters:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Provide Legendary Service through various touch points and communication channels
- Preparing store-made products according to established recipes and developing /costing new recipes
- Ordering, receiving, and pricing merchandise
- Completing production and maintenance records
- Following all applicable food safety and labelling regulations
- Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory; Follow FIFO
- Maintaining a clean, safe food preparation environment at all times
- Running reports and identifying market trends
- Operation of the point of sale and back-office system
- Assisting in all other areas of the store as required

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
- You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
- You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- You are familiar with food safe procedures and practices; Food Safe Level 1 or equivalent would be considered an asset
- Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required
- You can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
- You have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
