Job Summary
Paint Prep Technician
We are looking for an experienced Paint Prep Technician for Donvito Collision & Glass. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
The Position:

• Prepare the damaged area for painting including priming and sanding
• Repairing minor imperfections..
• Getting the vehicle fully paint ready (following recommended procedures)
• Complete all repairs as per estimate or work order.
• Take direction from, and answer to, the production manager.
• Account for the daily time applied to each job by recording it on a timecard.
• Maintain working area in clean/safe condition.

Job Type / Category
Full Time Monday to Friday role.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in automotive painting and basic bodywork techniques.
• Experience using power tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly on a daily basis
• Effectively communicate in English
• The ability to work under stressful situations in order to maintain great customer service.
• Mitchell Repair Center (or similar management system) experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license.
