Job Responsibilities
Driving company vehicles
· Assisting with compaction, loading, and moving of fill.
· Documenting daily logs and Quality forms for all inspections required for turnover
· Performing pre-operational inspections, hazard assessments, and safety checks.
· Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
· Performing various manual labor tasks to support civil operations.
· Maintaining a clean worksite by removing unwanted materials from construction sites.
· Assist with excavation and backfilling of trenches required for pipe installation as per client specifications
· Cut pipes to required lengths.
· Bevel, align and position pipes to prepare them for fusion welding or sealing.
· Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
· Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using fusion equipment
· Install fittings, restraints, valves, and cathodic protection
· Cover pipes with bedding and completion compaction to project specifications
· Assisting with the installation of underground process and piping systems (HDPE).
· Assisting with the installation of process equipment (valves, Fire Hydrants).
· Prepare, Hydro test, flush and reinstate piping systems
· Using power tools and machinery when needed.
· Being accountable, responsible & take ownership.
· Being safety conscious and follow safety policies and procedures.
· Providing a safe work environment through continuous training and development.
· Operating with honesty, integrity, and respect.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
Experience:

• pipefitting: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
