Job Description:
As a Body Work Repair Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing vehicle bodywork, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will work with a variety of tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: $21.00-$39.63 per hour
Benefits:
As a Body Work Repair Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing vehicle bodywork, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will work with a variety of tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess damage and determine the best repair methods
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, welding, and panel replacement
- Apply paint and finishes to restored areas
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with customers about repair progress and costs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an Alberta apprenticeship program in Automotive Body Repair or equivalent experience
- Valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate in Automotive Body Repair is preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., I-CAR, ASE) are an asset
- Proven experience in automotive body repair
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality
Pay: $21.00-$39.63 per hour
