We are looking for an Office Assistant who is able to provide support to the president and office staff. You will be required to demonstrate a strong knowledge and skill base in order to qualify for this position. Responsibilities include:
Greeting and directing customers in person and over the phone
Ordering and managing office supplies
Filing documents in relation to sales, service, and accounting
Assisting with receiving and inspecting incoming parts and equipment; documenting and tracking damages and discrepancies on orders, as needed
Assisting with shipping parts to customers, as needed
Assisting with shipping returned, defective, or damaged items back to suppliers, as needed
Assisting office staff by sourcing pricing and availability of parts and equipment from suppliers
Assisting with preparing equipment quotes
Assisting with preparing and managing service calls
Providing administrative support where deemed necessary
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Office Administration Diploma, or equivalent education and work experience
Must exhibit computer skills including use of internet, email, MS Office, and accounting software (Quick Books)
Must have customer service experience
Must have excellent organization and communication skills
Must have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
A knowledge of the commercial food and laundry industries is considered an asset
