Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY
Job Overview
The function of the Maintenance Manager is to oversee and assign work orders to the maintenance technicians as well as the maintenance for both Color Ad locations including equipment and forklifts.
The oversight of the department includes ensuring good time management, minimized machine downtime due to maintenance and the full implementation of a preventative and autonomous maintenance program in accordance and consultation with our Continuous Improvement (C.I.) methodology.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Duties
- Become familiar with the operation’s processes, practices, strengths and opportunities;
- Make suggestions towards the ongoing development of the Department;
- Observe work processes to assist in determining the skill sets required for future hires;
- Participate in the candidate review process;
- Take inventory of the Maintenance Shop and make recommendations;
- Begin to understand the needs of the operation to ensure proper performance and operation of equipment;
- Participate in the daily maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities;
- Minimize production downtime by performing preventive maintenance activities according to schedule;
- Ensure high standards of workmanship are delivered to prevent manufacturing · equipment breakdowns;
- Complete accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance performed;
- Carry out all work in a safe and professional manner complying with Plant Policies, procedures, Workplace Health & Safety Regulations and Food Safety Standards;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects;
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company;
- Three to five years of experience in Maintenance as a Supervisor or Manager in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment;
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, blue prints and schematics;
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment;
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to excel within a fast-paced team environment and function effectively working independently with minimal supervision;
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and industrial machinery maintenance;
- Experience in fabricating parts or components as needed;
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians;
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems and their maintenance requirements;
- Ability to supervise projects from planning to completion.
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
