Your day at Trim Landscaping:
Day-to-day you will be assisting to lead a crew of 2-4 people to complete small/medium size jobs and maintenance on a variety of residential and commercial properties. This work can include planting, grading, laying sod, mulching, drainage work and training crew members. We offer snow removal work through the winter months where applicable.
Job Requirements:
Train other crew members in all simple skills required for their position
Manage day-to-day/ week to week goals, production targets etc.
Have an understanding of tree trimming and pruning plant material
Ensure appropriate level of quality for all aspects of landscape jobs
Troubleshoot on-site problems with crew
Manage on site safety
Responsible for/oversee all preventative maintenance
Communicate with customers, and the Manager with all matters relating to the project
Read and understand work orders and blueprints
Calculate the material needed for all situations (sod, mulch, soil, plant material)
Know or be able to find out independently, standard install specs for a given product
Establish/communicate/pick up needs for next day
Timesheet input
Log safety incidents
Ensure site, truck, and trailer cleanliness and organization
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required
Able to read and understand blueprints or design specifications
Must have valid class 5 drivers's licence.
