Your day at Trim Landscaping
You are experienced Hardscape Crew leader and looking to grow and be a part of moving a business forward. You are trustworthy so that you can take on tasks and projects within your team with limited supervision. You are able to solve problems and willing to make a decision even if it’s a mistake so you can grow and learn. You are willing to work outside of your everyday tasks and do what needs to be done to get the job done
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a crew of 2-3 labourers
Train new team members on proper techniques
Execute hardscape construction projects, including but not limited to patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, decks, fences, water features, and outdoor structures.
Prepare the work area by clearing debris, grading the land, and ensuring proper drainage. Conduct necessary excavation and site preparation activities to create a solid foundation for hardscape installations.
Help coordinate project schedules and resources to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of hardscape installations. Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Provide guidance and recommendations based on client needs and preferences. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Adhere to local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements for hardscape installations.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience.
Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
Strong knowledge of Hardscape, materials, and equipment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions when needed.
Valid driver's license.
