We are looking for a motivated driven individual for the role of Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the smooth flow of the inventory process by promptly receiving incoming orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, counting and analyzing inventory discrepancies, working with scan guns, handling vendor returns, and allocating inventory within the Company’s locations. Candidates will use the inventory management system to: · Enter data in the computer system with the ability to use windows-based programs · Analyze and review inventory data · Create, enter, and edit purchase orders as needed · Scan shipments using scan guns for receiving purposes · Analyze and confirm the correctness of orders · Reconcile any inventory discrepancies · Analize supplier invoices to the received reports and identify errors in shipments · Do stock checks on under / over shipped items and submit claims to suppliers for incorrectly shipped items · Follow up on orders not received based on outstanding purchase orders · Perform order revisions as necessary, including price adjustments, changing/adding SKUs, etc. · Assist with physical inventory counts at year-end and other times as determined by management. · Be able to work unsupervised for periods of time, ensuring workflow is not interrupted · Ability to use and monitor emails. Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in inventory control and have a knowledge of purchasing systems, receiving report processing, and shipping regulations. Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is an asset. Training will be provided on proprietary software. Ideally, a minimum 2-3 years of warehouse experience is preferred. There is a three month probationary period before you otain permanent status. A clean driver's abstract and policy letter of clearnce are mandatory.
