Logistics and Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track ingoing/outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and optimize the supply chain process to improve overall performance and
cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage logistics documentation, including purchase orders, shipping manifests, and
inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Help develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal/external team members to resolve inventory and logistics issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and perform regular audits.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support decision-making and strategy development.

Qualifications and experience:
  • Post Secondary Education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in logistics and inventory management. (1-3 years)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 would be preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred, with proficiency in both written and spoken French and English.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
