DOF Subsea Canada is currently seeking a detailed oriented, service focused, and flexible individual for the position of Logistics / Warehouse Coordinator. A key to success for this position is the ability to collaborate with offshore and onshore personnel. The position will report to the Project Delivery Manager and will take day to day direction from various department and project managers. Due to operational demands, on occasion, you can be required to work outside standard business hours. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and/or preform all logistical duties for all project related equipment/asset movements, including equipment tracking, preparation for shipment, liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers, reception of shipments, etc.
Ensure all goods and equipment are inspected;
Maintain a high level of organization in the Warehouse and yard;
Oversee warehouse and yard space including personnel working in area;
Issue relevant Work Instructions for required transport and local services;
Issue pre-alerts for all shipment to relevant parties;
File transport and associated documents;
Be responsible for warehouse and yard housekeeping - adhere to company HSEQ requirements;
Ensure Goods are received in ERP on continuously basis according to delivery;
Responsible for the tracking and scheduling of vehicle, forklift and crane maintenance;
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing facility maintenance activities.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience:
Working knowledge of ISO standards and practices;
Experience with logistics coordination;
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multitask;
Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel;
Excellent communicator, reader, and writer. Clear and concise record keeping;
Ability to obtain a clear background security check, a clear driving abstract, and pass a Pre Employment Drug and Alcohol Screening.
