The Hotel on Pownal

As Front Desk Agent, You Will

• Greet arriving guests, check in and assign rooms
• Take, cancel and change room reservations
• Process telephone calls
• Process wake-up calls
• Provide information on hotel facilities and guest services
• Provide general information about points of interest in the area
• Arrange services required for guests with special needs
• Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
• Provide exceptional guest service
• Clerical duties as required
• Work along side of the hotel team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere

Who You Are

• Positive and outgoing personality
• Love for building strong relationships with team members, our guests and the community
• Our Front Desk staff will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
• Excellent oral communication
• Effective interpersonal skills

What You Bring

• Food Handling Certification and Responsible Beverage Certification is required
• Front desk experience is considered an asset
