Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including pain management and medication administration.
- Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with medical office protocols.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of family medicine practices.
- Participate in home care visits as needed for patients requiring additional support.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards in all communications.
Experience
- Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification is required.
- Experience in acute care settings, pediatrics, or hospital environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with data collection methods for clinical research is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of pain management techniques and approaches is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
