Salary: $37.90 – $45.13 per hour
(Based on 75 hours bi-weekly)

Reporting to the Director, First Nations Initiatives (FNI), this position is responsible for developing and implementing programming initiatives to meet the needs of Yukon’s First Nations and the identified core competency requirements in Yukon First Nations’. In addition, this position is responsible to work with the FNI team to integrate a strong understanding of Yukon First Nations throughout the institution and to be a key support in reconciliation efforts. The position assists in the development of a long-range Program Plan and performs other related duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary education and a strong knowledge of Yukon First Nations history, experience in the delivery of adult-educational programming and working in partnership with First Nations. Consideration may be given to those with an appropriate combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as computer skills (word processing, databases, and spreadsheets). A valid driver’s license is also required to enable travel for programming in Yukon rural communities.
