Job Responsibilities:
Assemble, guide, and inspire a team of engineers focused on the design and development of tillage equipment, nurturing a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, enabling them to reach their full potential and foster creativity.
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure cohesive engineering solutions.
Effectively oversee project risks, timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee timely and within-budget project completion.
Conduct in-depth design evaluations and performance analyses to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimize results.
Stay informed about industry developments, technological innovations, and best practices in tillage equipment design, applying these insights to our development strategies.
Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at boosting product quality, performance, and overall customer satisfaction.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline; P.Eng. or CET certification is required.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in engineering design and development, specifically in agricultural equipment or machinery.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a successful track record in managing and guiding engineering teams.
Proficiency in CAD software (such as Solid Works or Auto CAD) and other engineering tools is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for critical and strategic thinking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
A passion for agriculture and sustainable farming practices is a plus.
