Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, well-organized, flexible and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tire sales, industrial product sales, technical support and exceptional front counter customer service. Experience with tires, automotive or heavy duty industry in sales, marketing, parts and/or warehousing will be assets. Procurement, sales, accounting, inventory and management experience will all be valuable. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. At this time we are reviewing applicants already based in Yellowknife.
Duties:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email and in-person in a friendly, professional manner.
-Schedule service appointments
- Provide accurate information about products and services and be able to conduct research as required and respond quickly
- Review daily reports and schedules and process orders efficiently
-Support shop technical team and management
- Maintain daily records
- Collaborate with team to ensure customer satisfaction
-Deal with difficult people calmly and professionally.
-Receive freight and assist with inventory management
-Computer training to utilize Spire accounting software for orders, invoices and purchase orders
Requirements:
-Reliable, friendly and able to take initiative
- Strong organizational skills
-Solid computer skills
- Previous experience in tires, automotive parts or industrial sales is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in data entry and willingness to learn new software skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
