DUTIES
The successful applicant will perform accounting and related clerical work in the Department of Financial and Administrative Services. Duties include completing accounting tasks and accounting system processes, processing payments, including auditing procurement card reconciliations; auditing and processing travel expense claims and professional development and travel expense reimbursement (PDTER) claims; ensuring appropriate approval and verifying compliance with established purchasing procedures and policies; processing accounts payable invoices; preparing accounting entries; responding to enquiries; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-3 years) in accounting and related clerical work; completion of a three-year accounting program is required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, is essential. Experience using Banner Finance Accounting System would be considered an asset.
SALARY $49,308 - $57,841 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
