DUTIES
Reporting to the Administrative Staff Specialist III, the successful applicant will perform secretarial duties requiring initiative and judgment to support the Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences, in particular, the Office of Social Accountability as well as the Centre for Bioethics. Duties include organizing and scheduling meetings; drafting agendas and taking minutes; assisting with events and conferences; collecting, formatting and entering information for reports; creating and maintaining databases; assisting with developing presentations and posters; liaising with other units; monitoring and disseminating questionnaires; assisting with logistical arrangements for program activities such as travel; greeting guests to the Office of the Associate Dean; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-3 years) in secretarial work; supplemented by a two-year office administration program, or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Access is required. Knowledge of the Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences is an asset.
SALARY $46,134 - $54,114 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
