UNIONIZED POSITION
Permanent Full-Time – 40 hours per week
DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is a responsible position which involves the reception of cash, public relations, customer service and clerical assistance for the Finance Department. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a three year Certificate Program in Accounting/Business Administration.
Two (2) years work experience in a related work environment.
Experience with cash handling practices and procedures and a good understanding of the accounting cycle for revenues and receivables.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered.
SKILLS
Computer literacy is a must with hands on working knowledge of Windows, Excel, including spreadsheet and accounting operation.
Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
Applications must include a copy of official educational documents confirming education requirements and references. The successful applicant must provide an acceptable Certificate of Conduct and Drivers Abstract prior to commencement. COMPENSATION
