We are looking for a I2I Transformational Programs and Infrastructure & CAPEX Lead who is eager to join our global Insight 2 Impact (I2I) department, in our office in Braine/Anderlecht, Belgium.



About the role

You will play a crucial role in forming key financial partnerships with Patient Supply’s Transformation Programs and Infrastructure (TPI). TPI is pivotal in advancing Patient Supply’s strategy, which includes digital transformation, UCB’s environmental sustainability initiatives, global facilities management, real estate, and capital investment strategies.
As I2I Transformational Programs and Infrastructure Lead, you will support strategic decision making, optimize resource allocation, and drive organizational efficiency through Operational Excellence and Performance Analytics.
As I2I CAPEX Lead, you will work with key stakeholders to drive Global Capex planning & resource allocation, ensuring that Capex is allocated in line with UCB's strategic priorities, and value from Capex is maximized.


Who you’ll work with

The Role is based in Belgium and implies interacting with a wide range of stakeholders within Patient Supply and beyond. You will work closely with TPI as well as various Patient Supply stakeholders to scrutinize the global capex budget, balancing the need to ensure that critical investments are made in a timely fashion to support long-term revenue growth.


What you’ll do

  • Drive holistic resource allocations -together with our internal teams- to get the best value out of all our activities throughout the year.
  • Be a key contributor of prioritization board and cash flow committees.
  • Support key Patient Supply decision making and orchestrate the translation into financial plans for the unit (10YP, 3YP, RRA…).
  • Act as healthy challenger to validate key business assumptions and provide insights based on high value analysis & interpretation of data, as well as a deep understanding of our business and its value drivers.
  • Detect trends and future developments to provide forward looking views on financial performance.
  • Highlight and support the organization to prioritize and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Improve the organization maturity in terms of financial management skills and culture.
  • Adopt agile ways of working, in cross-functional teams across departmental boundaries.
  • Ensure excellence in terms of use of tools, systems and processes (e.g. data analytics and AI).
  • Collaborate & Partner transversal with a wide range of stakeholders within Finance and Business.


I
nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Master’s degree.
  • Excellent understanding of pharma and manufacturing business models as well as deep expertise in Capital Investment management, manufacturing finance and broad understanding of other disciplines such as consolidation, transfer pricing, risk management, tax, treasury to influence proper decision making in complex equations.
  • Curiosity and Mental Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and champion change with a can-do attitude.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Influence and Interaction: Ability to interact with and influence senior management.
  • Performance Metrics: Ability to identify new performance metrics and explain differences, recommending solutions.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Influencer: Act as a change agent and provide proactive counselling.
  • Digital Proficiency: Exposure to AI and Advanced Analytics solutions.
  • Team Building: Ability to drive, coach, and develop teams.
  • Operational and Strategic Thinking: Ability to navigate between operations and strategic thinking.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
