Skills, knowledge, experience required:

Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience;
Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience;
Sound practical experience in the implementation, support, testing, operation and maintenance and best practices of storage and backup infrastructure for large-scale distributed deployment.

Desirable:

University Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline;
Sound practical experience in scripting (Python, Power-Shell, etc.) for Storage/Backup Automation or collect data/event from storages;
Experience from working in a service provisioning organization.

Duties/role:

Guaranteeing seamless operation and upkeeping of NISC Iaa S Services, regardless of whether they are hosted on-premises, in private clouds, or public clouds;
Identifying and troubleshooting issues promptly, assisting in their timely resolution;
Following change management processes diligently.
