We are seeking a Training Specialist who is passionate about upskilling teams and enthusiastic about being a pillar in the startup of the Biomanufacturing Plant, located on our UCB campus in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the launch of our biomanufacturing plant. Your main goal is ensuring with your colleagues that our staff increase their level of knowledge and follow the GMP & HSE regulations. You will focus on training & upskilling teams on the norms and processes within our biomanufacturing pharmaceutical plant. Your primary responsibility will be developing, delivering and following-up on training programs to ensure compliance and efficiency in the biomanufacturing operations.
Who You'll Work With You will join a motivated, dynamic, and versatile team. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, Engineering, C&V, Automation, Logistic and Operational Excellence teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
What You'll Do Training Management:
Develop and maintain accurate training matrix.
Assign and update training plans, in collaboration with managers and aligned with business requirements and GMP/HSE regulations.
Manage the training schedule, organize sessions, and maintain accurate training records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and ensure the development of targeted training programs.
Deliver engaging and effective GMP training content, organizing regular training sessions and follow-up to ensure best practices are integrated by the teams in their day-to-day activities.
Create and implement innovative training methods and materials to enhance learning.
Be the point of contact and administrator of the training electronical system.
Coordinate and prepare training aspects for audits and quality meetings, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Define and track Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to training and coaching processes.
Conduct gap/risk analysis as necessary and steer continuous improvement projects related to training and digitalization, in alignment with UCB's overarching processes.
Manage deviations and change controls related to training activities, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
Coaching and Team Development:
Develop and implement an onboarding process for newcomers.
Develop and implement a coaching strategy to support operational activities.
Provide coaching and support team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Act as a mentor and SPOC for the staff on best practices.
Training Documentation :
Oversee the management of training-related documents.
Ensure good documentation practices are followed in all training materials and records.

Bachelor's degree in sciences
Minimum 5 years' experience in a regulated pharmaceutical company
Experience in a GMP environment
A prior experience within a biomanufacturing plant is a strong asset.
Experience in training management and documentation management
Strong coaching and trainer skills.
Demonstration of a strong team spirit.
Be autonomous and proactive.
Be decision making and responsible.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Creativity and a solution-oriented mindset.
Agile and flexible to handle urgent situations.
Fluency in French and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
