Production and Manufacturing Manager - Bahraini
Responsibilities
- Manages production activities and personnel.
- Controls absenteeism, sickness, and holidays.
- Participates in employee selection for employment, promotion, and redundancy.
- Optimizes machine utilization and reduces tool changeover times.
- Ensures documentation adherence and QC provides statistical reports.
- Supports ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and FSSC.
- Leads in EHS programs and staff training.
- Maintains discipline and issues warnings as per Policy Manual.
- Holds regular supervisors’ meetings to discuss issues.
- Advises on production personnel training needs.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards and ensures employees wear mandatory PP equipment.
- Prepares and sends monthly PSY data to the US.
- Ensures correct functioning of the Engineering department.
- Works with Maintenance supervisor for simultaneous electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Communicates with other shift supervisors on changes and deviations.
- Produces reports on equipment faults, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Monitors all employees and keeps aware of Engineering regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Leadership skills for operational objectives and strategic goal-setting.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or ASQ CQE certification preferred.
- Experience in de-coupled injection molding and structured process development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to support validation definition, method definition, root cause analysis, gage R&R, and measurement systems analysis.
- Experience in plastics injection-mold fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of development and design of plastic parts, insert molded parts, and assemblies.
- Ability to conduct design reviews of hot/cold runner injection molds.
- High level of initiative and flexibility.
- Proficiency with SAP System, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
