We are looking for a professional and experienced Line Cook to join our team and prepare delicious dishes based on our menu. You will be responsible for cooking and plating food in the designated cuisine station, following the recipes and standards set by the executive chef. You will also help with food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and inventory management. Responsibilities:
Set up and stock the designated cuisine station with all necessary ingredients and equipment
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
Plate and garnish dishes for service or dispatch
Ensure that food comes out quickly, consistently, and in high quality
Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations and practices
Clean and maintain the station and equipment
Assist other stations as needed
Communicate with the kitchen staff and front of house staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven cooking experience in designated cuisine, including knowledge of various dishes, ingredients, spices, and cooking methods
Culinary school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks
Familiarity with industry best practices and standards
