Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Lagos, Nigeria We are looking for a skilled Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at a premier hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, featuring 400 rooms, several F&B outlets, and extensive function facilities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing diverse dining operations. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the F&B Director in overseeing daily operations across multiple dining outlets and function facilities.
Ensure high standards of service and presentation are maintained in all F&B areas.
Support the management of a large team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain budgetary compliance.
Develop and implement innovative F&B concepts and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in all F&B operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within a large hotel or resort setting.
Proven ability to manage multiple F&B outlets and large-scale function facilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Experience with budget management and cost control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with local market trends and guest preferences.
Fluency in English is required.
