Data&System Manager - Climate (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Sustainability Manager – Climate, Data & Systems in the international sustainability sector, you will work in an international and interdisciplinary project team
- You will manage projects and processes to support the company’s efforts to achieve Net Zero and oversee a team of data analysts
- Develop and continuously improve the climate data strategy, including working across reporting and business teams to identify data gaps, and prioritize and develop solutions to improve data quality and support necessary compliance efforts (e.g. CSRD)
- Support the ALDI SUD Group in the launch of new technology solutions to support enhanced reporting, particularly in Scope 3
- Coordinate with relevant international and national business units (Buying, Supply Chain Management, IT, etc.) to complete annual GHG footprint and share progress
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As a Sustainability Manager – Climate in the international sustainability sector, you have a degree in economics or sustainability studies
- You have several years of experience and sound knowledge in the areas of retail, climate strategy, carbon accounting or consulting
- Strong understanding of science-based objectives and planned legislation are part of your core competencies
- You have first experience in leading a team as well as several years of relevant professional experience in dealing with relevant guidelines/standards (e.g. GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD)
- Your English skills are very good
- You are willing to travel abroad

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 127.000,-*
- willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
