Climate Specialist - International Sustainability (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You'll oversee and develop international sustainability projects in the field of climate change
- Supporting the ALDI SOUTH Group on its carbon reduction pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets
- You'll take on responsibility as the climate strategy coordinator to develop and coordinate global carbon reduction programs and processes with focus on operational carbon reduction in real estate and transportation
- You'll be a focal point and advise the national business entities concerning the implementation and development of the international climate strategy
- You 'll collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Creating concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations
The requirements of the role include:
- You have completed studies ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting and Management or within Logistics and Real Estate
- Initial work experience in climate change, carbon accounting (GHG Protocol) and environmental management with focus on operational emissions of Scopes 1+2 and 3
- Experienced in the field of climate change, carbon accounting and basic technical expertise in facility management, logistics and procurement is advantageous
- You are proficient in Excel, Power Point and other MS Office applications
- Enjoys international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business.
- You are fluent in English
- You have excellent communication skills and teamwork

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*
