Your responsibilities
- Lead the development of the financial controlling team based on the global finance and organizational development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession.
- Secure, set up and maintain the financial structures to follow-up cost and performance and support decision making.
- Lead close cooperation with Business Navigation to create insight in costs and performance and support business steering based on standard global frameworks (e.g. accounting, reporting, internal control).
- Lead and supervise centralized Accounting & Reporting Operations to ensure accurate Financial and Management reporting, based on standard local legal and tax requirements.
- Accountable for variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported actuals and forecasts and first level of commentary.
- Cooperate with Group Financial Controlling teams (Co E) and Country organization to minimize deviations from global standard operating procedures for local business needs and compliance reasons and secures effective ways of working.
- Manage tax risks and opportunities through the implementation, administration and monitoring of a tax control framework.
- Manage the relationship with the external auditor and tax authorities in the countries and enable an efficient and effective external audit process.
Who you are
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field with 10+ years of experience in Finance and 5+ years of experience in managing a team.
- Professionally qualified accountant ACA/ACCA or local equivalent and the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
- Excellent knowledge of measuring, processing and communicating financial information in compliance with internal and external regulations and communicating risks to the organization.
- Advanced knowledge of data science, analytics, data visualization tools and
new technologies to secure a predictive and value-adding finance and accounting function.
- Advanced knowledge in tax accounting, statutory and regulatory reporting and
knowledge to provide support in an auditing process.
- Broad knowledge of the process of analyzing IKEA's financial situation and
plan from a tax perspective with the purpose of reducing tax liabilities and
identifying the right tax treatment and calculation.
- Broad knowledge in commercial, corporate and personal tax legislations and the ability to work with complex data, communicate insights to make more informed decisions.
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze and evaluate data and determine cause and effects to generate innovative, data-driven ideas.

For this position we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from € 5465,- (on fulltime base incl. ALL In). We are willing to pay significantly more depending on experience and qualification.
