Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Heart of House Manager, who is supporting our Heart of House Manager and is acting as a Supervisor for the Heart of House team members.
Job Summary:
- Assisting and managing the Heart of House department head.
- Scheduling and training the stewarding team to increase performance.
- Ensuring the compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards in all heart of house areas.
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Close collaboration with the culinary and the service department as well as the heart of house Manager.
- Addressing and resolving issues with conflicts that arise in the heart of house areas.
- Assisting in budget management.
Required Skills:
- Several years of experience in the heart of house area in the hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
