Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli People.
Roster: 7D7N7R (2 weeks on 1 week off) FIFO ex Perth
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse Officer to join our team at Fortescue. The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Process all inbound and outbound deliveries in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness for oneself and others in the workplace.
- Organise and manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations.
- Safely store and handle materials following company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Possession of an LF High-Risk Licence for operating reach trucks and various other vehicles (training for 45t machines will be provided).
- Current WA C-Class driver’s licence at a minimum.
- Proficiency in using SAP for warehouse transactions and understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail.
