Mc Lean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Training Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance, thereby contributing significantly to the overall success of our organisation.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure training initiatives align with the strategic goals of the organisation. Develop a long-term training strategy.
Training Needs Assessment: Identify and assess training needs across departments, updating training materials to stay relevant.
Training Program Design and Delivery: Design comprehensive training programs, create engaging materials, and facilitate training sessions tailored to various departments.
Budget Management: Manage the training budget, optimising resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Coordination and Scheduling: Oversee training schedules, market training opportunities to employees, and coordinate with external trainers as necessary.
Evaluation and Feedback: Implement evaluation processes to assess training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date training records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships within and outside the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
5+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or a relevant field.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with various training methods.
Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent organisational skills with the capability of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
