About the role(s) We're seeking local undergraduate or SACE students to help improve the efficiency of our laboratory. We offer flexible hours that can align with your study schedule. Part-time or casual hours are negotiable. TGO0 The following objectives for a Technical Officer at the classification level of TGO 0 are as follows:
Contribute to the provision of a quality, multi-disciplined pathology service provided in a regional laboratory.
Perform routine laboratory functions, while providing direct assistance to Medical Scientists / Technical Officer /Section Supervisor / Scientific Leaders.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
Must have previously satisfied the educational standards for entry into a course of study leading to an approved and recognised qualification.
TGO1 The following objectives for a Technical Officer at the classification level of TGO 1 are as follows:
Contribute to the provision of a quality, multi-disciplined pathology service provided in a regional laboratory.
Activities at this level may be undertaken on an individual basis or in a team and will include a requirement to exercise knowledge.
Perform duties which require expertise, experience and technical skills to apply standardised practices and procedures in the conduct of a range of technical activities.
Participate in technical project work which requires a level of applied knowledge and skill, which can be gained by experience.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognised qualification

Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
Working With Children Check (DHS)
