What you will be doing:
Support adults with an intellectual or physical disability who attend our Scope day program.
Engaging in clients individualised or group programs, hobbies and interests. This could anything from walks and exercise programs, music, art and crafts, sports and games or following the clients lead.
Provide personal care respectfully, if and when required.
Capacity build to maintain clients independence and encourage them to be active part of their community.
Promote choice and control using person centered active support.
Follow behavioural support & NDIS care plans
Ensuring to be a positive role model and bring a positive and engaging version of yourself!!
Some of our requirements: We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher, full working rights in Australia (no restrictions) and flexible availability Monday-Friday between 9-3:30pm.
